Film Screen Aruba Foundation (FSA) is passionate about its ambitious project; Set up of a Durable and Sustainable Platform where Creative Careers with its local Cultural Products, in a variety of disciplinary visual arts, are perpetually exposed.

Mission

Stage of “Live”
Thus, we made it our mission to create a Live Stage, Amphi Theatre where daily authentic presentations of these local multi cultured community products are available and can be tasted whether it is in a Film, Theatre, Musical Review, Culinary Arts, Native Celebrations, Curiosa, Contests, etc. These will catalyze production of diverse Ancillary Opportunities for Creative Career Building (CCB). Designers, makeup artist, cameraman, songwriters, scriptwriters, photographers, editors, authors, scenery set up and the immense spectrum of what encompasses these visual expressions. It provides a stage of unlimited continuous possibilities. If one just dares. FSA believe that dreaming is the foresight of making life happen. Let’s make them come true.

Institution

Plan is to have alternate courses to guide producers how to excel in production of these visual art expressions extensive variety that are durable and sustainable.

Planning

In 2024 Oranjestad will be celebrating its 200 years of the establishment of a center for trading of culture not only with its neighbors of the Caribbean and South America but also Nort American & European merchants that makes Aruba what is now a peaceful destination of multiple nationalities to celebrate life. For this reason, we have joined different Organization’s to be able to set up a collaboration to work together in a productive direction, these are Stichting ARCA (Aruba Sustainable Art) for contemporary art and Stichting Rancho (SR) in charge of the celebration.

ARCA with its Contemporary Art Museum that will seize more expressions of plastic art where more than 10 artists of different disciplines can expose their work with annex a gallery of local art products, fashion, literature, music, curiosa, wines and more, is of mutual interest.

A Creative Cultural Economy

Having benefitted from the Durable & Sustainable Prosperity, Tourism had offered to the island over the years, with its Beautiful and Warmhearted People, a variety of Durable Job-opportunities in the hotel field were created. Now it is due for a CCB Platform that is durable and sustainable where a vast variety in disciplinary arts can be exposed, from film to theatre, fashion to paintings, photography to plastic art, authors to scriptwriters, songwriters to singers and so on. For this to happen we need an ambitious perpetual platform for exposure. This is where our Foundation need your help, support our mission to bring this much needed diversification in CCB that will catalyze into authentic local creative cultural products.
